Audi rally car WELCOME to a new dawn and a new era at Smeatharpe for 2010. South Hams Motor Club is delighted to be organising a new rally, the ‘Kynaston Auto Services Rally’, for competitors at this venue. It’s followed a tough year for Lloyd Stevens and the other landowners, but because of their dedication and the help of Bournemouth & District Car Club this important rallying venue has been secured for the foreseeable future, and we want to keep it that way!

BUT...due to various local authority restrictions and rules that now apply we need YOUR help on the day AND more importantly YOUR entry. 45 stage miles are on offer with eight stages ranging from 3 miles to 7.5 miles in length. We are delighted to be the first round of the ASWMC championship and aim to offer an event that’s friendly, run smoothly but above all challenges competitors whether it’s your first or 100th rally.

THIS rally will be the perfect way to start your championship campaign. Please bring along your family and friends who will be able to watch the thrills and hopefully not so many spills – but warn them that the venue is an exposed ex-airfield high on a Devon hillside; warm clothes, hat, gloves and that new scarf given by relatives as a Christmas present is a must!!
