WELCOME to a new dawn and a new era at Smeatharpe for 2010. South Hams Motor Club is delighted to be organising a new rally, the‘Kynaston Auto Services Rally’, for competitors at this venue. It’s followed a tough year for Lloyd Stevens and the other landowners, but because of their dedication and the help of Bournemouth & District Car Club this important rallying venue has been secured for the foreseeable future, and we want to keep it that way!

Marshalls - No experience necessary as we all started once. Training will be given. Come and help on the day! Please email us in the first instance:

Please bring along your family and friends who will be able to watch the thrills and hopefully not so many spills – but warn them that the venue is an exposed ex-airfield high on a Devon hillside; warm clothes, hat, gloves and that new scarf given by relatives as a Christmas present is a must!!

A torch is advisable for later in the day. PLEASE stand in a safe place to spectate. If any of the stewards, marshals, safety or course cars that pass through the stage ahead of the competitors deem that spectators are standing in an unsafe place the stage may be cancelled.
