Welcome to the 2024 Eco NRG Ltd South West Targa Road Rally organised by South Hams Motor Club on Saturday 20th July 2024.  Eco NRG Ltd return as event sponsor and thank them very much for their support.

Building on last year’s event and the feedback from the competitors we are pleased to go into our second event and welcome you back to RRH Portreath.  We have a new team heading up the event and offer approximately 50 miles of Tests using the roads and gravel tracks within the RRH Portreath complex which the club have used for their stage rallies for many a year.   Now we have reduced the number of loops there should be no issue with dust this year.

Individual detailed Tests maps will be provided by the organisers and the Entry Fee is £169.

The Start / Finish venue will be on the main runway, so this has plenty of parking and there will be a food van available.

The event is a round of the 2024 ASWMC DL Motorsport Parts Ltd Targa Road Rally Championship contenders must enter one of the Interclub classes to score points. Registered contenders can also score points by marshalling.

For the novice there will be a Clubman’s event

The event will run under a Targa Road Rally permit allowing any 2WD road rally cars to compete.

We are very grateful for the help and support of the personnel of RRH Portreath.

We all look forward to seeing you on the 20th of July 2024.

Lucy Wills and Nicola Harper and the South West Targa Team.

Kevin and the Organising Team.

This is a closed venue and NOT open to the public.  Marshals very welcome!...

But you can still come for the day! --- If you wish to come to the rally you must do so as a Marshal.

No experience - no problem!

As always we need help running the event with a huge volume of marshals needed to ensure a slick event. If you can help out or know of anyone available - it’s the ONLY way to see the action then please contact us via the website HERE.

CO2 and Climate change

As part of our commitment to:
•    The protection of the environment
•    Reducing the detrimental impact of events on the environment
•    Improving the sustainability of motorsport in the UK

We donate a small environmental levy from our events to offset the CO2 produced by all competing vehicles, and that of the South Hams Motor Club organisers on the event. We invest this in a local tree planting scheme managed by local charity MOOR TREES to permanently offset the carbon produced and to achieve net-zero carbon for our events.
